Sustainability and Future Vision
The UAE is not only meeting current demands but also preparing for the future with sustainable aviation fuels, autonomous aircraft systems, and advanced air mobility technologies.
Additionally, air travel has become more accessible to the public. Between 2011 and 2023, ticket prices fell by 35%, and the annual number of flights per capita reached 3,668.
A Global Hub
Today, the UAE holds a 2.3% share of global international passenger traffic and leads its region with 32.2%. Dubai International Airport (DXB) ranked first in the world in August 2025 with 5.34 million departing seat capacity.
