SunExpress and Eurowings Expand Codeshare Network with 8 New Destinations via Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin

SunExpress and Eurowings have expanded their codeshare agreement. Eight new destinations have been added via Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin, with flights starting on 3 February 2026.

SunExpress, the joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, and Eurowings, the low-cost airline brand of the Lufthansa Group, have decided to expand their existing codeshare agreements. With the new arrangement, direct codeshare flights are being introduced to 8 new destinations departing from Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin, increasing the two airlines’ total shared network to 13 destinations.

Under the agreement, selected flights operated by Eurowings can be booked with SunExpress flight numbers (XQ) via:

This enables passengers to travel to many destinations across Europe with a single reservation through SunExpress sales channels.

Greater Flexibility via Three Key Hubs

Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin airports are positioned as the main connection hubs in the cooperation between SunExpress and Eurowings. SunExpress Strengthens Its European Network

Operating scheduled flights to more than 240 destinations across 35 countries, SunExpress further enhances its intra-European connectivity with the new codeshare routes. The expanded codeshare agreement is expected to provide passengers with time-saving and planning advantages, particularly for connecting journeys.
