Sun Siyam Vilu Reef has expanded its accommodations with the addition of 50 new overwater villas, increasing inventory at the Maldives resort and introducing a new category designed for couples and families.
The new Ocean Signature Villas with Pool and Slide include 48 one-bedroom villas and two two-bedroom units, all positioned over the lagoon with direct ocean access and panoramic water views.

Each villa includes a private sundeck, plunge pool and a waterslide that provides direct access to the lagoon. Additional outdoor features include an overwater hammock and lounge areas designed for private relaxation.
Inside, the villas feature open-concept layouts with separate living spaces, dressing areas and bathrooms equipped with freestanding soaking tubs and dual vanities. One-bedroom accommodations include a large lounge area and integrated pantry, while the two-bedroom units offer additional space for families and small groups traveling together.
The interiors were designed by London-based Studio Sixty7, incorporating natural materials, curved architectural elements and a neutral color palette inspired by the surrounding marine environment.
The new accommodations are intended to appeal to travelers seeking larger villa options and private outdoor living space, two features that remain in high demand among visitors to the Maldives.
