SAS Resumes Copenhagen–Tel Aviv Direct Flights After a Decade

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is relaunching its Copenhagen–Tel Aviv direct flights, nearly ten years after suspending the route in 2016. The new service will begin in late October 2025 with three weekly frequencies.

Affordable New Travel Option

SAS has put round-trip tickets, including cabin baggage, on sale starting from €312. With these flights, the airline aims to strengthen connectivity between Northern Europe and Israel.

SAS’s Global Network

As the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, SAS operates flights to more than 125 destinations worldwide via its hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. The relaunch of Tel Aviv flights is seen as a strategic move expected to increase competition in the region.

Growing Activity on the Israel Route

SAS’s return comes as part of the recovery in international flights following conflicts with Iran.

• Lufthansa Group has resumed its Israel flights with daily frequencies.

• Air Europa has reached six weekly flights on the Madrid–Tel Aviv route.

• airBaltic will resume its Riga–Tel Aviv flights on 4 September 2025.
