Sabiha Gökçen Airport Served 26.5 Million Passengers in 7 Months

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) welcomed 26.5 million passengers with 152,694 flights in the first seven months of 2025, and 4.39 million passengers with 24,135 flights in July alone.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) welcomed 26,503,943 passengers with 152,694 flights between January and July 2025. In July alone, the airport handled 4,394,797 passengers with 24,135 flights.

According to a statement from the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport Authority (HEAŞ), this strong performance in the first seven months of the year has further strengthened the airport’s position as one of Türkiye’s and the region’s most important aviation hubs.

HEAŞ officials stated that the increase in passenger and flight numbers has been made possible thanks to the high-quality services offered and ongoing investments in the airport’s technological infrastructure.
