Ryanair Plane Causes Crisis in Milan: All Tires Burst During 737 MAX Landing, Stranded on Runway

A major crisis occurred on Ryanair’s FR-846 flight from Barcelona to Milan Bergamo. The Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, registered as EI-IGI and operated by Ryanair, unexpectedly lost all its main tires during landing. After a successful touchdown on runway 28 at Milan Bergamo Airport, the plane came to a standstill on the runway when all four of its tires burst.

Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the runway after the incident. Officials reported that the aircraft caused significant damage to the runway surface, extending 450 meters. Due to the blown tires, the plane was unable to maneuver, prompting immediate maintenance work on the runway. Airport authorities stated that repair efforts are ongoing to get the runway operational as soon as possible.

Eyewitnesses Describe Terrifying Moments

Several passengers on board recounted the frightening moments following the landing. “At first, we thought the plane had landed normally, but then we heard a loud explosion and the plane suddenly stopped. For a moment, no one understood what had happened,” one passenger said, adding that they were relieved by the swift response of the emergency teams after the incident.
