Russian Airline S7’s Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing

A Russian airline S7 Airbus A320 made an emergency landing while en route from Baku to Novosibirsk. The incident was reported by the Aviaincident Telegram channel. During the flight on October 16, the crew reported that a passenger on board had fallen ill, prompting the pilots to decide to make an emergency landing at Omsk Airport.

There were 157 passengers and six crew members on board. According to statements made, no one was injured during the emergency landing.

On the same day, another Azimuth Airlines aircraft also made an emergency landing at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport. This aircraft experienced a hydraulic fluid leak that damaged its landing gear. Sparks were noted to come from the underside of the aircraft upon touchdown.
