PLAY Airlines Opens New Route Between Antalya and Iceland

Iceland-based low-cost carrier PLAY Airlines has announced the start of ticket sales for scheduled flights between Antalya and Reykjavik. The first flight is set to take off on April 15, 2025, with weekly flights continuing until early June. The service will resume in September and run through November.

Operating a modern fleet of Airbus A320/321neo aircraft, PLAY offers comfortable and reliable travel experiences between Europe and North America. The airline boasts an impressive 88.8% on-time departure performance, and its cabin crew was voted “Best” by USA Today readers, highlighting some of the company’s strengths.

Travelers from Turkey can take advantage of this new route to explore Iceland’s stunning natural beauty. Iconic destinations like the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, whale-watching tours, and the northern lights make this route particularly attractive to adventure seekers.

PLAY Airlines CEO Einar Örn Ólafsson expressed his excitement about the new route, stating, “This new connection between Antalya and Reykjavik will strengthen the bond between the two cultures and offer travelers from Turkey the opportunity to experience Iceland’s natural wonders at affordable prices.”
