Italian aerospace company Piaggio Aerospace, now part of Baykar, has received its first P.180 Avanti EVO order from Turkey. Two private jets, to be used for service and air ambulance missions, will strengthen Turkey’s civil aviation capacity.
Piaggio Aerospace, which has entered a restructuring process after joining Turkey’s leading defence industry company Baykar, has achieved a significant commercial success in the international market. The company has received its first P.180 Avanti EVO order from Turkey.
The agreement was announced at the NBAA-BACE (Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) held in Las Vegas, USA. According to Piaggio Aerospace, the two P.180 Avanti EVO aircraft ordered from Turkey will be used for service and air ambulance missions.
Special Equipment for Service and Air Ambulance Missions
The aircraft included in the order can be used for both executive transport and emergency medical intervention missions thanks to their special configurations. These features will provide operational flexibility and high performance to Turkey’s civil aviation capacity.
