SpaceX will add another two dozen of its Starlink V2 Mini broadband internet satellites to its massive low Earth orbit constellation Monday morning with a Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The Starlink 17-39 mission is the company’s 85 Falcon 9 rocket launch of the year. Of those, 67 are in support of the Starlink constellation, which consists of more than 10,800 spacecraft.
Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4 East is scheduled for 7:36 a.m. PDT (10:36 a.m. EDT / 1436 UTC). The rocket will fly on a south-southwesterly trajectory.
Spaceflight Now will have live coverage beginning about 30 minutes prior to liftoff.
SpaceX will launch the Starlink 17-39 mission using the Falcon 9 first stage booster with the tail number B1082. This will be its 23rd flight after launching missions, like NROL-145, USSF-62, and OneWeb Launch 20.
More than eight minutes after liftoff, B1082 will target a landing on the droneship, ‘Of Course I Still Love You’, which is positioned in the Pacific Ocean. If successful, this will be the 212th landing on this vessel and the 640th booster landing to date.
