Aselsan and the Havelsan-TUSAŞ partnership have signed a significant project to meet the technological needs of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). The parties entered into an agreement valued at $84,044,241 for the procurement of Friend-or-Foe Identification, Navigation, and Communication Systems to be integrated into aerial vehicles.
Details of the Partnership
According to an official statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), this agreement was realized through the collaboration of Aselsan and Havelsan-TUSAŞ. This strategic agreement aims to fulfill TSK’s need for modern defense technologies.
In its statement to KAP, Aselsan declared:
“A contract worth a total of $84,044,241 was signed between Aselsan and the Havelsan-TUSAŞ partnership for the procurement of Friend-or-Foe Identification, Navigation, and Communication Systems for the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces’ aerial vehicles.”
Contribution of the Project to TSK
This project is expected to further enhance the safety and effectiveness of TSK’s air operations. The systems will play a critical role in detecting external threats, identifying friendly forces, and ensuring seamless communication for aerial vehicles.
