Double Route Opened from Sabiha Gökçen to Egypt!

Direct flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Egypt’s Luxor and Marsa Alam cities have started with Pegasus Airlines. The new routes aim to carry an additional 10,000 passengers.

Flights have commenced from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (ISG), the city’s airport, to two of Egypt’s leading destinations: Luxor and Marsa Alam. Pegasus Airlines will operate reciprocal flights twice a week to Luxor and Marsa Alam, its fifth and sixth destinations in Egypt, following Alexandria, Hurghada, Cairo, and Sharm El-Sheikh.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (ISG) International Airport continues to expand its flight network with the goal of bringing accessible travel to even more destinations. With flights to 152 destinations in 53 countries — 113 international and 39 domestic — ISG continues to strengthen its position as a strategic hub directly connecting Istanbul to attractive destinations through key partnerships. With the addition of Luxor and Marsa Alam, it has also reinforced its leisure tourism network.

10,000 additional passengers to be carried with the new routes

With the launch of Luxor and Marsa Alam, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport is taking on an important role in connecting travellers through Türkiye. These routes aim to generate a strong passenger flow to Egypt, particularly from the Middle East, Europe, and the Caucasus regions, thanks to Pegasus’s extensive flight network. With this strategic expansion, Pegasus expects to make a significant contribution to its Egypt operations and carry an additional 10,000 passengers in total. This target stands as a clear indicator of ISG’s growing global connectivity capacity.
