Corendon Airlines has extended its sponsorship agreement with Hull City until the end of the 2028/29 season. Front-of-shirt sponsorship and supporter projects will continue.
Corendon Airlines has extended its main sponsorship agreement with English Championship club Hull City until the end of the 2028/29 season. In the new period, the Turkish airline will continue to support supporter events and club projects, as well as serving as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor.
Corendon Airlines has extended its main sponsorship agreement with English football club Hull City for another three seasons as part of the partnership that began in 2022. According to the new agreement announced by Hull City, the Turkish airline will continue to serve as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor and participate in various projects until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Under the agreement, the name “Corendon Airlines Raich Carter Suite”, one of the club’s hospitality areas, will also continue to be used.
Partnership that began in 2022 expanded
Corendon Airlines began its partnership with Hull City in 2022 as the club’s official travel partner. The company later became one of Hull City’s main sponsors during Acun Ilıcalı’s tenure as club chairman.
Throughout the partnership, Corendon Airlines handled the transportation operations for Hull City’s first-team training camps abroad. It also carried more than 1,000 Hull City supporters on special trips organised to Türkiye.
The sponsorship agreement, which was expanded last season, also included the Cottingham Training Ground, front-of-shirt sponsorship of the academy teams and the club’s digital broadcasting platform, Tigers Plus.
Acun Ilıcalı: Corendon believed in us
Hull City Chairman Acun Ilıcalı expressed his satisfaction with the extension of the agreement and stated that Corendon Airlines has been one of the club’s most important business partners since 2022.
In his statement regarding the agreement, Ilıcalı said:
“Corendon believed in us. Our new goal now is to establish ourselves permanently in the Premier League. We are proud to represent a strong Turkish brand on platforms followed by millions of people.”
Yıldıray Karaer: We have built a strong bond
Corendon Airlines Chairman Yıldıray Karaer also said they were pleased to extend the partnership with Hull City for another three years.
Karaer stated that the partnership, which began in 2022, had developed beyond a traditional sponsorship relationship over time and said:
“We have built a strong bond based on shared values, trust and a vision of success. We believe that sport is an important force that brings people and communities together. We will continue to support Hull City’s journey and increase the international visibility of the Corendon brand.”
Support for Hull City supporters will continue
During the new agreement period, Corendon Airlines will continue to support events and reward programmes for Hull City supporters.
The club also announced that the Corendon Airlines logo would be added free of charge to 2026/27 season shirts that had already been purchased.
