Global travel technology provider BookingAgora held the 17th edition of its traditional industry gathering in collaboration with Six Senses Kocataş Mansions, renowned for its unique Bosphorus-side atmosphere in Istanbul. TravelXperience 2025 became one of BookingAgora’s most important networking events for the industry, serving over 10,000 travel agencies and more than 15,000 users across 47 countries.
Leading aviation brands including AJet, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Fly Cham, Sabre, Saudia, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, APG Turkey, TAL Aviation Group, FlyArystan, IndiGo, MEA, and THAI participated with stands and conducted B2B meetings with attendees. Additionally, tourism fairs and summits such as Dubai DET, Antalya Tourism Fair (ATF), Travel Turkey İzmir (İZFAŞ), and Uzakrota also showcased their stands at the event.
Opening Speeches and Presentations
The event kicked off with an opening speech by BookingAgora Co-Founder Murat Kahraman, while Six Senses Kocataş Mansions Hotel Manager Deniz Kınalı welcomed the guests. Following this, representatives from AJet, Emirates, Fly Cham, Fly Dubai, Sabre, Saudia, Turkish Airlines, and Six Senses took the stage to deliver presentations. Tourism fair representatives Selçuk Meral (ATF), Yusuf Erdoğan (Travel Turkey İzmir), and Ömer Gündoğdu (Uzakrota) also announced upcoming events.
Daytime Workshops, Evening Gala
Under the slogan “The Future of Travel, Experienced Today,” the event began with daytime workshops and B2B meetings. In the evening, the celebration transformed into a lively gala featuring performances by Loca Orkestrası, DJ Lady Pi, and Sevkan Aydın Stage Arts.
10th Anniversary Celebration
One of the most special moments of the event was the cutting of BookingAgora’s 10th-anniversary cake on stage by co-founders Murat Kahraman, Aziz Ciga, Kadri Ciga, and Sezgin Kara. Kahraman stated:
“With our sales network in 8 countries and as a global travel wholesaler actively selling in 47 countries, we provide access to 2.3 million hotels and over 400 airlines. Our goal is to bring together industry stakeholders to foster new collaborations, share knowledge and experiences, and add value to the sector.”
Contribution to the Industry
BookingAgora TravelXperience 2025 brought together over 600 representatives from various sectors of global tourism, enhancing collaboration opportunities. The event offered participants from Turkey and around the world the chance to establish new business connections, learn about market trends, and shape the future of the industry.
