Turkish Airlines (THY) reached the highest daily passenger number in its history by serving 232,878 passengers in a single day.
THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi announced the record-breaking achievement on his social media account with the following statement:
“We are breaking a passenger record! Today, with 232,878 guests served, we are setting a historic passenger record. Our previous record: 2 July 2023, with 226,987 passengers. Türkiye is growing, and THY is soaring high.”
The previous record of 226,987 passengers, set on 2 July 2023, was surpassed by approximately 6,000 passengers.
