An-2 Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing in Russia: 4 Injured

An An-2 aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Russia’s Stavropol region. According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, four of the nine passengers on board were injured, three of whom were taken to the hospital. Among the injured is an 8-year-old child.

The ministry announced via its Telegram channel that the plane made an emergency landing near the town of Essentuki. Although the cause of the accident has not yet been determined, initial assessments suggest that the plane may have struck a power line during the flight.

Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene following the crash, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the incident.
