A Boeing 737-8JP aircraft from Norwegian Air Sweden was forced to circle over Norfolk due to an emergency shortly after taking off from London Gatwick. The plane took off at 13:47 from Gatwick, with a scheduled landing time of 16:30. The flight was expected to head to Gothenburg Airport in Sweden.
According to Flight Radar 24 data, the aircraft initially headed towards Sweden but changed its route and proceeded south, landing at Stansted Airport. The flight crew declared an emergency and utilized Squawk code 7700.
