AJet announced that it will operate a total of 180 additional flights, including 134 domestic services, between May 21 and May 31 due to the increased travel demand during the Eid al-Adha holiday period.
One of Türkiye’s young airline brands, AJet, has activated an additional flight schedule ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday in response to rising passenger demand. The company announced that it will operate a total of 180 extra flights to accommodate the expected holiday traffic.
In a statement made by AJet Press Counselor Mehmet Yeşilkaya, it was noted that the additional flights planned between May 21 and May 31 will cover both domestic and international operations.
134 Domestic and 46 International Additional Flights to Be Operated
According to the information shared by the company, passenger traffic during the Eid al-Adha period is expected to increase significantly, especially on routes to tourist destinations and hometown connections. In this context, AJet will operate:
- 134 domestic flights
- 46 international flights bringing the total number of additional services to 180.
The additional flight planning is intended to meet the capacity demand that may arise during the holiday period and to make passengers’ travel experiences more comfortable.
Heavy Air Traffic Expected During the Holiday Period
As the Eid al-Adha holiday approaches, passenger traffic at airports across Türkiye is expected to increase significantly. While airlines are expanding their operations, especially in metropolitan cities, tourism centers, and internationally connected destinations, decisions regarding additional flights continue to be announced one after another.
