Top management has changed at Turkish Airlines. While Bilal Ekşi retired, Ahmet Olmuştur was appointed as CEO. Metin Gülşen and Harun Baştürk were also assigned to senior positions.
Change in Top Management at THY
Turkish Airlines announced the changes in its senior management via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the statement, significant appointments were made in the CEO position and the senior executive team.
Bilal Ekşi Retires
Bilal Ekşi, who had been serving as CEO of the company, stepped down from his position due to retirement. In the statement made by THY, appreciation was expressed for Ekşi’s contributions to the company during his tenure.
New CEO: Ahmet Olmuştur
By decision of the Board of Directors, Ahmet Olmuştur, who had been serving as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), was appointed as the new CEO of Turkish Airlines.

Other Appointments in Senior Management
As part of the same decision, two more important appointments were made in the senior management:
Metin Gülşen, Head of Accounting and Financial Control, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Harun Baştürk, who had been serving as Regional Sales President (Region 1), was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
The Process Will Continue with the New Management
With these appointments, the senior management structure at THY has been reshaped, and it was stated that the newly appointed executives will continue their duties in line with the company’s growth and strategic objectives.
