The November 2025 Airport Traffic Report published by Airports Council International (ACI) once again revealed the strong growth demonstrated by Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in passenger traffic across Europe.
According to the report, Sabiha Gökçen Airport maintained its steady upward trend by achieving a 20% increase in passenger numbers in November 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year.
European Leadership in the First 11 Months
Spreading its rapid growth momentum throughout the year, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport recorded a 16.6% increase in passenger numbers in the first 11 months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, becoming the airport with the highest passenger growth in Europe.
High Rankings in the European League Table
With its strong traffic growth, Sabiha Gökçen Airport ranked:
- 8th in Europe in terms of passenger traffic in November 2025,
- 9th across Europe in total passenger traffic for the first 11 months of 2025.
