Fraport TAV Antalya Airport hosted senior airport representatives from the Airports Council International (ACI) – Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in a special event held in Antalya. Before their visit to Antalya, the ACI LAC delegation engaged in various meetings across Turkey, conducting observations related to the aviation sector.
During the meeting organized as part of the event, several key topics were discussed, including Antalya’s strategic position in the region, its importance for Turkish tourism, the airport’s expansion project, operational activities, digital solutions aimed at enhancing guest experience, and sustainability initiatives. In the discussions between Fraport TAV officials and the ACI LAC delegation, ideas were exchanged on industry innovations and development opportunities, with significant steps taken to strengthen cooperation.
Following the meeting, delegation members participated in a field visit as part of the expansion project, allowing them to closely observe and examine the ongoing work. The event concluded with a tour of Antalya’s historic Kaleiçi district, where the guests had the opportunity to experience the city’s rich cultural heritage, making it an unforgettable experience.
