Riyadh King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, whose engineering and construction works were undertaken by IC İçtaş Construction, has risen to third place among more than 200 airports in the AirHelp Score 2025 report. Renewed with the contribution of Turkish engineers, the airport achieved a passenger experience score of 8.47 out of 10, ranking it among the best airports in the world.
Published annually by AirHelp, the AirHelp Score 2025 Report analyses millions of flight records and passenger evaluations. This year, the report was prepared with the participation of around 13,500 passengers from 58 countries. Airports are assessed based on on-time performance, service quality and passenger feedback.
In this context, Riyadh King Khalid Airport, renovated through the projects implemented by IC İçtaş Construction, secured its place in the global top three with a score of 8.47. Once fully operational, the airport will serve 14 million passengers annually across an area of 170,000 square metres.
The advanced engineering solutions developed by Turkish engineers at the company played a critical role in achieving this success. Infrastructure modernisation, enhanced passenger experience and expanded service scope have reinforced the airport’s strong standing in global rankings.
