Explosion Sounds Near Damascus International Airport: Flights Continue Normally
In Syria’s capital, Damascus, explosion sounds were heard near the International Airport. According to initial reports, the incident originated from remnants of war in the area.
Official Statement Released
The Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation stated that the explosions occurred while neutralising war remnants. The statement emphasised that mines were safely destroyed in areas far from the airport.
Flights Unaffected
Authorities confirmed that flights at Damascus International Airport are continuing as normal and that operations were not disrupted.
