Kerem Sarp: We are building two more air bridges abroad
AJet CEO Kerem Sarp announced the launch of the new routes through a post on his social media account. Kerem Sarp said, “As an airline rapidly expanding its international flight network, we are delighted to share the good news of two more international routes. Starting June 29, we will begin flights from Istanbul to Egypt’s port city Alexandria, and starting July 1, from our capital Ankara to Russia’s cultural capital St. Petersburg.”
Highlighting that AJet operates direct flights from Ankara to 37 destinations in 28 countries, Kerem Sarp stated that, alongside Istanbul, they see expanding international operations from Ankara and strengthening the capital’s global connectivity as a strategic objective. Sarp added, “We believe our new routes will make significant contributions to the development of cultural and commercial relations for our country. As AJet, with our rejuvenated fleet, we will continue connecting our guests with new destinations. In the coming period, we will continue strengthening Türkiye’s regional air connectivity by expanding our international flight network.”
